William Carroll Fisher, III, age 79, Harrodsburg, husband of Sandra Engers Fisher, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center in Harrodsburg. Born November 16, 1939 in Winchester, KY, he was the son of the late William Carroll and Myrtle (Bruce) Fisher II. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, was a life-long fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcat basketball and football teams and a member of the Rosemont Presbyterian Church in Lexington.
Survivors other than his wife include: one daughter Kim Fisher of Ona, WV and one son William (Stacie) Fisher IV of Huntington, WV; one sister Betty (Charles) Baesler of Frankfort and one brother David (Mary Louise) Fisher of Lexington, three grandchildren Emmalyn Faith Fisher and Adam Cayton both of Huntington, WV and Ben Cayton of Ona, WV; two great grandchildren Bryce Cayton of Buckhannon, WV and Ava Cayton of Huntington, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am, Friday, April 19, 2019 at Sims Funeral Services by Joshua Stine. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery in Lexington.
Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2019 from 9:00 am until the hour of service at Sims Funeral Services.
