William Brent Abney

     William Brent Abney, age 51, Harrodsburg, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at his home in Harrodsburg. Born April 27, 1970 in Louisville, KY, he was the son of Paul Abney and the late Jane Abney. He was a maintenance worker for the Amazon Corporation, liked to ride motorcycles, building objects and was a member of the Catholic Faith.
    Survivors other than his father include his significant other: Carmen Holt of Harrodsburg; one daughter Mary (Tyler McConnell) Beth Abney of Mt. Olivet, KY; one sister Faith (Rob) Cook of Clarksville, IN; two brothers James (Brittany) Abney of Shepherdsville and Timmy (Tammy) Abney of New Albany, IN.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. John David Lane. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
    Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at Sims Funeral Services.
    Pallbearers are James Abney, Tim Abney, Rick Logsdon, Aaron Logsdon, Tyler McConnell and Patrick Holt. Honorary bearers are Paul Abney and Robert Cook.
