Walter David Young

               Walter David Young, age 82, Harrodsburg, widower of Patsy Robinson Young, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Signature Health Care in Danville. Born July 22, 1941 in Richmond, KY, he was the son of the late Ernest I. and Gladys (Evans) Young. He was a 1959 graduate of Richmond Model High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond. He served our country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a self-employed retail seller of liquor in Lexington. Walter was a member of the Churches of Christ in Christian Union in Harrodsburg. 
             Survivors include one stepdaughter Kelli (Ronald) Tate of Okeechobee, Florida, two special friends Anna Bakhaus of Lexington and Nick R. Yeast I of Harrodsburg and a host of other friends. Other than his wife he was preceded in death by a special companion Karen Lee Young.
             Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Christian Union Church Of Christ, 475 Curdsville Road in Harrodsburg by Bro. Johnny Hockersmith III. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery in Richmond.
