Timothy "T-BONE" Dale Bess

Timothy Dale "T-Bone" Bess, age 62, Danville, husband of Anne Crawford Bess, passed away at 10:30 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell RMC in Danville. Born April 6, 1959 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Samuel Edward Thomas and Willie Frances (Young) Bess. He was a 1978 graduate of Harrodsburg High School and was a horse groomer-trainer for the Melinda and Tom Moore Horse Farm. He was an avid sports fan who dearly loved the Pittsburg Steelers football team and he also enjoyed being with his grandchildren.

Survivors other than his wife include: two daughters Leslie Simpson of Carrolton, GA and Marlese (Christian) Holiday of Nicholasville; one son Timothy Dale Bess, Jr. of Danville; one brother James Thomas Bess of Champaign, IL and 12 grandchildren. Timothy was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Edward Thomas "Butch" Bess, Jr. and a sister Irene VanDyke.

Services will be conducted 6:00 pm, Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. Nick Ricardo Yeast I. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at Sims Funeral Services.
