Ruby Jean (Arnder) Sturgill

Ruby Jean Sturgill, age 75, Harrodsburg, wife of Frank Sturgill, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at her home in Harrodsburg. Born February 17, 1948 in Norton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas "Junior" and Minnie Lee (Peak) Arnder. She was a homemaker, member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Survivors, other than her husband, include two daughters Jessica (Dustin) Hamm and Jennifer (Danny) Culberson both of VA, three sons Steven (Rebecca) Richardson, Michael (Angela Taylor) Richardson and Jason (Lee Ann) Sturgill all of VA; one brother Kenneth (Linda) Orender of Cleveland, OH; five grandchildren Brittany Hawkins, Lucas Richardson, Brandon Richardson, Matthew (Stephanie) Richardson and Jordan Richardson; nine great grandchildren Sara Stevens, Noah Stevens, Brooklin Stevens, Minkah Hamm, Malachi Hamm, Joseph Hawkins, Molly Hawkins, Easton Richardson, Owen Richardson; one great great grandchild Waylon Jordan; one niece Kimberly (Timothy) Hess; two great nephews Thomas Orender and Johnny Hess and two great great nieces Shelby Orender and Saline Orender.

There will be no local services or visitation as the family elected cremation.
