Roy Chasteen Baugh

Roy Chasteen Baugh, age 68, Harrodsburg, husband of Kathy June (Pittman) Baugh, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at his home in Harrodsburg. Born December 21, 1955 in Shepherdsville, KY, he was the son of the late Roy Melvin and Mildred Florence (Phillips) Baugh. He attended Mercer County Schools, was a self-employed handyman and a member of the Willow Grove Baptist Church in Danville. Roy enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers, spending time with family and his church.

Survivors other than his wife include three daughters Jodi Machelle (Ryan) Lane and Tara Jade Ann (Carla Ryan) Baugh both of Harrodsburg and Misty June (Michael) Hampton of Moreland; one son Roy Chasteen Baugh II of Harrodsburg; two sisters Crystal (Shawn) Curtsinger of Harrodsburg and Elizabeth Ann Griffin of Mishawaka, Indiana; two brothers Cletus (Jackie) Griffin and Tony Lee (Tammy) Griffin both of Mishawaka, Indiana; six grandchildren Leea Philhower , Branden Philhower, Natalie Lane, Kadence Riley, Coltin Yeast and  Kooper Hampton. Roy was preceded in death by his sister Georgia Hartman and two brothers Danny Baugh and Dudley Baugh.

Memorial services will be conducted 12:00 pm, Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Willow Grove Baptist Church, 4306 Stanford Road in Danville. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
