Roger Terrell Brown

Roger Terrell Brown, age 48, Lexington formerly of Harrodsburg, son of Deborah Brown Pope of Lexington and the late Gary Bush, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born July 27, 1974 in Harrodsburg, he attended Harrodsburg Independent Schools until 1992 where he was and outstanding athlete, he graduated from Lafayette High School in Lexington in 1993 and obtained a degree from the former ITT Tech School in Lexington. He became a Fiber Technician for MetroNet in Lexington where he was still employed until his passing. He liked to play golf, play video games and watch his son play baseball.

Survivors other than his mother include a daughter Lyric Brown of Harrodsburg; a son Rylan Trae Brown of Lexington; a sister: Nikki (Tasaun) Taylor and a brother: Richard (Bobbie) Brown both of Lexington; one grandchild Remington Hullings of Harrodsburg and two stepchildren Madison Hardin of Lexington and Ely Jackson of Harrodsburg.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Friday, December 16, 2022 at Sims Funeral Services by Dr. Phillip A. Yates with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of services at Sims Funeral Services.

Pallbearers are Shawntae Baker, Lamont Linton, Germaine Dunn, Dontae Bartleson, Andy Wilhite, Terry Dunn.

Honorary bearers are Brandon Ford, Michael Johnson, Xavier Williams, Kevin Jones, Jason Jones, Craig Boyd, Gary Brown, Jewel Brown and Casey Spencer.
