Robert William Bradshaw, age 61, Salvisa, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg. Born September 27, 1960 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Leon Vandyke Sr. and Mary Lucille Bradshaw. He was a 1979 graduate of Burgin High School, was a concrete laborer, helped people in need, liked to draw, was an avid University of Louisville Cardinal fan and was a member of the Little Zion Baptist Church in Burgin.
Survivors include his niece and caretaker Tiarra Bradshaw of Salvisa; one daughter Jessica Bradshaw of Lancaster; one aunt Loraine Bell; two brothers Leon (Kathryn) VanDyke Jr. of Harrodsburg and William O. VanDyke of Akron, OH. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Ann Bradshaw and an aunt Bernice Harris, one cousin, Mary Brown Bedinger and one niece Tifanee Bradshaw .
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Friday, December 10, 2021 at Sims Funeral Services with Dr. Phillip Yates officiating. Burial will be in Robinson Roe Cemetery in Burgin.
Visitation will be Friday December 10, 2021 from 12 noon until time of services at Sims Funeral Services.
Pallbearers are Edward Davidson, Lamar Stigall, Michael Allen, Charles D. Murphy, Josh Goodman, Brandon Bottoms. Honorary bearers are Braxton Bradshaw, Braidon Bradshaw, Xzareon Denney, Xzavier Denney, Zachary King, Brianne Bradshaw, Jackson Tyler, Donald Tyler, Jason Tyler and Gwenetta Yates.
