Obituary

Richard Mills "Dick" Crittenden, age 91, Danville, husband of Pat Ricketts Crittenden, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at The Willows in Harrodsburg. Born January 3, 1932 in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Adelbert Mills and Ruth (Griffith) Crittenden. He received his bachelor’s degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and then became an electrical engineer for AT&T and Lockheed Martin Space Program. He was a pilot, liked to sail boats and dance with his wife for whom he was a wonderful husband. Richard was a member of the Centenary Methodist Church in Danville.

Survivors other than his wife include two daughters Lynne McCreary and Elizabeth (Dan) Schlegel both of Pennsylvania and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Craig Crittenden.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
