Polly Ann (Hardin) Hurst

Polly Ann Hurst, age 80, Danville, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her home in Danville. Born May 28, 1941 in Springfield, KY, she was the daughter of the late Russell Lee and Helen M. (Sims) Hardin.

Survivors include her husband Anthony Todd Hurst; four daughters: Jeanette (Art) Duncan of Lawrenceburg, Stacy Ross of Clearwater, FL, Karen Sue Schuster and Charlotte Ann (Darryl) Royalty both of Harrodsburg; two sons Martin Wayne (Dana) Ross of Harrodsburg and Chris Anthony (Tracy) Ross of Danville;  one brother Charles Hardin of Harrodsburg; thirteen grandchildren Kayla Smalley, Sarah Gritton, Jeffrey Duncan, D.J. Lunsford, Patrick McLevaine, Kristen Ross, Amanda Lunsford, Aaron Ross, Kendra Ross, Kody Ross, Hannah Snow, Hailey Snow and Isabella Snow; also her best friend Rita Hardin. Polly was preceded in death by a brother Harrison Hardin, a grandson Brian Patrick Ross and Benjamin Franklin Ross, father of her children and longtime friend.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, April 4, 2022 at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. Travis Alltop. Burial will be in Battle Cemetery in Mackville. Visitation will be Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 5 pm until 8 pm and on Monday, April 4, 2022 after 9 am at Sims Funeral Services.

Pallbearers are Kendra Ross, Bradley Cay, Jeffrey Duncan, Kody Ross, Aaron Ross, Rob Snowden and D.J. Lundsford. An honorary bearer is Patrick McLevaine.
