Peggy Sue Coulter, age 55, Harrodsburg, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell RMC in Danville. Born December 7, 1967 in Danville, she was the daughter of Betty Coulter. Peggy was a graduate of Danville High School, a factory employee at Hitachi in Harrodsburg and enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and family, dancing, singing and was always the “Life of the Party” and was a Christian.
Survivors other than her mother include her long time companion Michael Ray Smith; four daughters Kearra Douglas, Juniqua Coulter, Ieshia Mays and Precious Smith all of Danville; three sisters Carol Smith and Lesley Houston both of Danville and Jeanetta Huffman of Lexington; three brothers Tommy (Robin) Coulter of Danville, William (Tammie) Coulter of Stanford and Ralph VanDyke of Garrard County; five grandchildren Mikeal Ashby, Amani Bailey, Mykala Coulter, Royalty Douglas and O'shuyn Smith. Peggy was preceded in death by a sister Tammy Coulter.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Sims Funeral Services by Elder James McPherson.
The visitation will be Wednesday from 12:15 pm until the time of the service at Sims Funeral Services.
Pallbearers are Chad Martin, Keith Whitehead, Clark Walker, Tamiane Dean, Janiel Dean and Chavez Dear. Honorary bearers are Mikeal Ashby, Amani Bailley, Martae Ford, Lamar Ford, O’shuyn Smith, Dentay Ford and Brandon Anderson.
