Norma Jane "Janey" Trisler, age 77, Harrodsburg, widow of the late James Stallard Trisler, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her home in Harrodsburg. Born August 20, 1940 in Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of Dorothy Myrtle (Wilson) Hubble and the late Ruby Lee Hubble. Norma graduated from Junction City High School, was a former event planner at Shakertown, an apartment manager for Belmont Apartments, a member of the Wolf Clan of the Kentucky Cherokee Nation, enjoyed shopping, reading, listening to classical music, gardening, enjoyed being with her family and attended the Apostolic Church of Danville.
Survivors other than her mother include: three daughters Melody (Jr.) Thompson of Richmond, Madonna King and Ginger (Bill) Skaggs both of Harrodsburg; one son George Joseph (Vonda) Craig; one sister Rita Craig of Parksville; two brothers Ronnie (Ruby) Hubble of Parksville and Donnie (Pat) Hubble of Burgin; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, her faithful companions, "Ed" (Jack Russell/Corgi) and "Little" (Yorkie/Chihuahua). Other than her father she was preceded
in death by a son Stanley DeWaine Craig, two sisters, Francena Phillips and Deretha Hines, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Sims Funeral Services by Pastor Damian Phillips. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of service at Sims Funeral Services.
Norma’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers and honorary bearers.
