Michael David Salvia, age 58, Harrodsburg, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at U of L Hospital in Louisville. Born August 13, 1959 in Chippewa Falls, WI, he was the son of the late Russell and Ollie Jean (Slayton) Salvia. He was a retired produce manager for Kroger in Harrodsburg, enjoyed fishing, antiquing, listening to music, driving through the mountains and was a member of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include a daughter: Persis (Daniel) Jeanette Ormond of Nicholasville, two sisters Patti (Tom) Johnson of Elizabethtown and Lynne (Greg) Skeeters of Vine Grove; a brother Russ (Saundra) Salvia of Vine Grove; three grandchildren Autumn Celeste Salvia of Lawrenceburg, Lilliana Ormond and Adelyn Ormond both of Nicholasville. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a son Michael Taylor Salvia.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 9:00 am, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Sims Funeral Services by David Woodward. Honorary Pallbearers are: Jeremy Bottom, Gary Rowan, Jim Davis, and Ronnie Sims.
