Merle Jane (Simkins) May

Merle Jane May, age 88, Harrodsburg, widow of Robert Carl May, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at her home in Harrodsburg. Born April 6, 1935 in Ainsworth, IA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Anne (Dearborn) Simkins. She was a graduate of Central High School in Ainsworth, a self-employed beautician, office worker and housewife. She enjoyed reading and watching the Hallmark Channel on television and was a member of the Christian faith. 

Survivors include three sons Dale Ziegler and Jay (Terri Shepherd) Ziegler both of Harrodsburg and Eric May; three stepchildren and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Tina Jenkins.
