Matthew Price Obituary

Matthew Brian Price, age 41, Lexington, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born March 28, 1980 in Lexington, he was the son of Freddy Nance of South Carolina and the late Angela (Geddes) Price. He was a graduate of Tates Creek High School in Lexington, was a cook at several local restaurants, was a good hearted person as his friends always called him “Colonel” and he enjoyed watching sports on television.

Survivors other than his father include a son: Shawn Price of Lexington; four sisters Marlana Kay Hutsell of Morristown, TN, Amanda Jean Marler of Huntington, WV, Leean "Lil Pam" Taylor of Hazard and Shelby Dickey of South Carolina; three brothers Kevin Christopher Price of Clearwater, FL, Brandon Johnson of Hawaii and Henry Carlton Dunaway of Lexington; he was also survived by his grandmother Zella May Price of Burgin.
