Mary Veda (Lewis) Ross

     Mary Veda Ross, age 72, Harrodsburg, widow of Terry Lee Ross, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at her home in Harrodsburg.

     Born February 13, 1953 in McKinney, KY, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Thomas and Veda Frances (Vickory) Lewis. She was a homemaker, enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and watching old western television shows. Mary was a member of the Christian faith.

Survivors include two daughters Holly (Blake) Anderson and Tabitha Jarrell both of Harrodsburg; two sons Shane Griffin and Kevin Griffin both of Harrodsburg; one sister Ada (Robert) Hafley of Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren Lily Darbee, Ashelyn Darbee, Alyssa Jarrell and Elijah Griffin all of Harrodsburg and Maiden (Brandon) Griffin of Liberty, KY; one greatgrandchild Alita Griffin of Liberty, KY. Mary was preceded in death by three brothers James Lewis, Paul Lewis and Kenny Lewis and six sisters Edith Dean, Pat Patterson, Thelma Lewis Votaw, Margaret Holt, Betty Jean Dye and Dorothy Ann Dye.

     Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Friday, September 19, 2025 at Sims Funeral Services by Rusty Fitzpatrick. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

     Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services at Sims Funeral Services.

     Pallbearers are Blake Anderson, Stephen Hodge, Steven Sagracy, Brandon Griffin, Brandon Price, and Joe Jarrell.
