Martaevio “Mario” Dequintez Buster, age 36, Lexington, formerly of Harrodsburg passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born March 4, 1985 in Danville, he was the son of Edward E. Harlen of Danville and Dephanie Buster of Lexington. He was a graduate of Harrodsburg High School, a former construction worker, liked to listen to music, play cards and was a member of the Centennial Baptist Church in Harrodsburg.
Survivors other than his parents include: a daughter Jezalia Deann Buster of Harrodsburg; a son Ethan Cotner-Young of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; a sister Nekeeva D. Buster of Lexington and three brothers Olyjuwon (Roberta) Mays of Pensacola, FL, Rashad E. Buster and Algernon J. Buster both of Lexington.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday April 23, 2021 at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. Donald Wayne Smith. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 am until the hour of service at Sims Funeral Services.
Pallbearers are Jay Wade "J" Kavanaugh, Mark Stigall, Ahntoan Tompkins, Lamar Stigall, Shawn Warren, Anthony Stigall.
Honorary bearers are Mario Buster, Germaine Dunn, Olyjuwon Mays, Rashad Buster, Algernon Buster, and Gary Brown.
