Mae Dell (Murphy) Mills

Mae Dell Mills, age 66, Harrodsburg, daughter of the late Gilbert Eugene and Virginia Ann (French) Murphy passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the Ephraim McDowell RMC in Danville. Born June 18, 1956 in Harrodsburg, she attended Mercer County Schools, worked at various retail establishments, loved to read and be with her family and she was a member of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include two sons Matthew Mills and Jacob Mills both of Mercer County: three brothers Edward Murphy of Lexington, Cliff Murphy and Tim Murphy both of Harrodsburg and one granddaughter Taylor Renee Mills of Montana. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Earl D. Murphy and Daniel E. Murphy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday April 7, 2023 at Sims Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until time of services on Friday at Sims Funeral Services in Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers are Jacob Mills, Matthew Mills, Cliff Murphy, Edward Murphy, Denver Mills, Andrew Mills and an honorary bearer Ricky Mills.
