Kent Dylan Lunsford, age 58 of Harrodsburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at his home after a long illness. Born October 1, 1961 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of Tommy Lunsford and the late Winkie Drury Miller. He was a graduate of Mercer County High School, was the owner of Prestige Painting for 35 years, enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, refinishing furniture, watching westerns, riding motorcycles and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Kent was of the Baptist faith and attended Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors other than his father include: his significant other Misty Goodlett, two sons DJ (Erin) Lunsford and Matthew Lunsford; two daughters Amanda Lunsford and Sierra Lunsford; two sisters Sheena (Chuck) White and Meacia (Bob) Mugge; two uncles Buford Lunsford and Henry (Judy) Lunsford; three aunts Anna (Gene) Blackburn, Alma (Bob) Thomas and Iris (George) Jones. Also surviving are three grandchildren Jacob Lunsford, Desiree Lunsford and Dylan Lunsford and very special friends Keith Taylor, Rick Hartman and Kenny Brinegar.
Other than his mother, Kent was preceded in death by one granddaughter Jaleigh Lunsford, an Uncle Scottie Drury and two special friends Lawrence Goodlett and Ben Ross.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
