Kenneth Wayne Gau

Kenneth Wayne Gau, age 63, Harrodsburg, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Baptist Health Lexington in Lexington. Born January 12, 1958 in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late Jacob E. and Rosemary (Harmeyer) Gau. He enjoyed watching wrestling, was an avid University of Kentucky “Wildcat” fan, liked Ohio State Football, spending time with his nieces and nephews and was a member of the Baptist faith.

          Survivors include two sisters: Debbie Sue (Tom) Schiely of Xenia, OH and Vickey Lynn Gau of Harrodsburg; three brothers George Gau of West Milton, OH, Robert Gau of Miamisburg, OH and Charles (Linda) Gau of West Carrolton, OH and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers Donnie Gau and Jacob Gau, Jr.

           A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Sims Funeral Services by Pastor Tom Byrd of Georgetown. Visitation will be Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 12 noon until the hour of service at Sims Funeral Services.
