Judy Rose (Brown) Wilson, age 78, of Harrodsburg, wife of William Thomas “Billy” Wilson, died Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Lawrenceburg. Judy was born April 30, 1947, in Mercer County, to the late James William "JW" and the late Hazel Fern (Sherrod) Brown. She was a factory worker for both Eaton Corp. and Signet Systems, both in Harrodsburg as well as a caregiver and a homemaker. She liked to go camping at Green River, play bingo, watching horse shows and was a member of the Ebenezer Church of Christ.
Survivors other than her husband include a son Jeff (Mary) Wilson of Harrodsburg; a brother James Donald of Arizona; her sister-in-law Ruby Francis of Lawrenceburg, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers Franklin Delano Brown, David Eugene Brown, and Jerry Thomas Brown, a sister Shirley "Ann" Whitenack and two brothers-in-law Marion Wilson and Elwood “Jack” Whitenack.
There will be no visitation. A private family memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
Arrangeements are entrusted to Sims Funeral Services in Harrodsburg.
