John Ben Price Jr.

John Ben Price, Jr., age 81, Harrodsburg, husband of Linda Shirleen Riley, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at his home in Harrodsburg. Born November 18, 1941 in Burgin, KY, he was the son of the late John Ben and Edna Beatrice (Riley) Price, Sr. He was a graduate of Burgin High School, was a factory worker for Florida Tile, liked woodworking and raising a garden and was a member of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors other than his wife include two daughters Angela Marie Britt and Linda Jolene (Dean) Holt both of Harrodsburg; two sons Tony (Lisa) Wayne Price of FL and Randall Scott (Teresa) Price of Harrodsburg; two brothers David Carol Price of Harrodsburg and Owen Glen (Carol) Price of Liberty; 5 grandchildren and four great grandchildren plus a host of nieces and nephews who loved their uncle very much.

John was preceded in death by a sister Donna Jean Price and three brothers, Gary Michael Price, Ronald Price and James Robert Price.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Sims Funeral Services by Marcus Nations minister of the Harrodsburg Church of Christ. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of services at Sims Funeral Services.

Pallbearers are Scott Price, Tony Price, Dean Holt, Johnathan Waldrep, Brandon Holt and Roy Freeman.

Honorary bearers are Jolene Holt, Angela Britt, Teresa Price, Heather Price, and Jaydalin Waldrep.
