John Brewer Britton

John Brewer Britton, age 80, Harrodsburg, widower of Nette Rae (Coslow) Britton, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort. Born December 14, 1940 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Davis Howard and Thelma Louise (Graham) Britton. He attended Cornishville School, was a self-employed farmer, liked to listen to bluegrass music and was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God in Harrodsburg.

Survivors include: three daughters Melissa Britton Benham, Velta Coslow McCormack and Jennie Bain; two sons Greg Dale Britton and Mike Coslow both of Harrodsburg; one brother Buddy (Jan) Britton of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren Tony Lynn Coslow, Josh Robert Coslow  and Chris Coslow all of Danville, Cody Dale Britton and Charles James Britton both of Cornishville and Alexis Cuzick of Lancaster.

Beside his wife and parents John was preceded in death by two brothers Danny Britton and Larry Britton.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. Derek Baker. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of services at Sims Funeral Services.

Pallbearers are Chris Benham, Jamie Benham, Cody Britton, James Woodford, Gary Stumph, and Josh Coslow.
