Jennifer Juanita Vaughn, age 54, Harrodsburg, wife of Scottie Joe Vaughn, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 at her home. Born February 9, 1971 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late James Deaton and Doris (Conner) Deaton of Harrodsburg. Jennifer attended the Harrodsburg Independent Schools, was a homemaker and loved watching her grandchildren and reading books. She was a member of the Christian Faith.
Survivors other than her husband include a daughter Samantha Vaughn Hooker (Mark) Boswell of Eubank; three sons Jeffrey (Taneika) Darland and Scott Vaughn Jr. both of Harrodsburg and Jonathan Darland of Danville; her mother Doris (Conner) Deaton; three sisters Jackie Johnson, Sylvia Harris and Pleasent Cierra Deaton all of Harrodsburg; eleven grandchildren Gabriel Darland, Braylen Darland, Saylor Vaughn and Blakelee Vaughn all of Harrodsburg, Canaan Darland and Noah Darland both of Danville, Scottie Hooker, Alexander Hooker Maci Hooker, and Kynleigh Boswell all of Eubank plus Chasity Vaughn of Perryville. Other than her father she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Alexander Hooker.
The family requests that memorial donations be made directly to Sims Funeral Services, 130 North Chiles Street, Harrodsburg, KY to assist with funeral expenses. “Your kindness is deeply appreciated."
