James Harlan Harlow, age 83, Harrodsburg, husband of Linda Harlow, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at UK Medical Center in Lexington after a brief illness. Born July 24, 1936 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late John Dillard and Bessie (Stevens) Harlow. He attended Henry Clay School in Lexington, was a self-employed mechanic and semi-truck driver, enjoyed woodworking as a past time and was a member of the Cornishville Baptist Church.
Survivors other than his wife include three sons J.D. Harlow of MI, Jeff Harlow and Calvin Harlow both of Okeechobee , FL,; five sisters Delores (Wayne Fountain) Honsinger of Harrodsburg, Daisy Harlow of McKee, KY, Rebecca (James) Noble of Tyner, KY, Kathrine (Bob) Rosecrants of MI and Roberta (Larry) Wagoner of Okeechobee , FL; two brothers Russell Harlow of Okeechobee , FL and John Harlow of McKee, KY. James was preceded in death by a daughter Libby Marie Harlow, a brother Douglas Gene Harlow and a sister, Hazel Keaton.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to Sims Funeral Services.
