Jamel William Taylor

Jamel William Taylor, age 31, Harrodsburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Born February 21, 1991 in Danville, he was the son of John William Taylor Jr. of Burgin and Angela Hayden of Harrodsburg. He was a 2010 graduate of Mercer Co. Senior High School, liked sports of all types, spending time with his family, going fishing and attending the Little Zion Baptist Church in Burgin.
         Survivors other than his parents include: a daughter Adalyn Brooke Taylor and a sister Janelle Ophelia Taylor both of Harrodsburg. Jamel was preceded in death by two brothers Jaron Taylor and John William Taylor III.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Monday, March 21, 2022 at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. Orlando Remont Mays. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at Sims Funeral Services.

Pallbearers are Amy Dean, Dawn Foster, Casey Robinson, Timmy Porter, Russell Mays, Shawn Massie, Sam Simpson and Xavier Williams.
