Jacob George Trzop

Jacob George Trzop, age 71, Harrodsburg, husband of Tammi T. (Devine) Trzop, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at his home in Harrodsburg. Born September 18, 1950 in Lakewood, OH, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Yanok) Trzop. He was a graduate of the University of Ohio where he received a master’s degree, served our nation honorably in the United States Navy and was a retired electrical engineer having worked for the IBEW Local 369 in Louisville for many years. Jacob was an enthusiast of life and a bright light amongst his loved ones. He was a vibrant storyteller and always filled the home with songs. His greatest dedication was precious moments with his family. He was a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and upheld his belief throughout his life.

Survivors other than his wife include one son Lukas (Adrian) Trzop of Springfield, OR and one sister: Georgiann Kaptur of Detroit, MI; other than his parent he was preceded in death by a sister Florence Karpel. 

There will be no visitation or services at this time.
