Francine Alfreda (Allen) Jones

Francine Jones, age 64 of Harrodsburg, wife of Tim Jackson Jones, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born May 8, 1960 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Burnett Offutt Hayden and Mary Willis (Allen) Young. Francine was a 1979 graduate of Harrodsburg High School and became a factory worker for Hitachi in Harrodsburg. After retirement she enjoyed taking care of all her family members.

Survivors other than her husband include a daughter Nicole Jones and one son Timothy Jones  both of Harrodsburg; three sisters Aquila Young of Harrodsburg, Tonya (Kevin) McGhee of Lexington and Arthenia (Albert) Douglas of Danville; five brothers  Jeremiah Young of Versailles, Arthur Allen of Lexington, Melchizedek (Melissa) Young of Danville, Emmanuel Young of Danville and Bobby Charles Allen of California; five grandchildren Nicholas Brothers Kamren Jones, Kaylei Jones, Keldan Jones and Timothy Jones;  two special friends Arnessa Young and Bonita Trigg; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other friends and several former co-workers. Francine was preceded in death by a brother Bill Allen and a sister Ruth Jones.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Monday, November 18, 2024 at Sims Funeral Services by Mel Young, Timothy Young and Pastor Phillip Yates. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers are Bentley Jones, Jeremy Young, Eddie Young, Aaron Young, Brian Roach and Eric Roach.

Visitation will be Monday, November 18, 2024 from 8:00 am until the time of services at Sims Funeral Services.
