Frances Louise (Debaun) Davis

          Frances Louise Davis, age 76, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at her home in Danville. Born May 31, 1948 in Perryville, she was the daughter of the late Homer Allen and the late John and Dora (Debaun) Thompson. She was a graduate of Mercer County High School, became a factory worker for Modine in Harrodsburg and was a member of the New Horizon Missionary Baptist Church in Danville.

          Survivors include a son Barry Rumor Smith of Lexington, a brother Rufus (Mary) Thompson of Lexington, a sister Ernestine Garner of Louisville, and also seven grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by a brother William “Billy” Jewell Penman.

          A Memorial Visitation will be conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10:00 am until 12 noon at Sims Funeral Services located at 130 North Chiles Street in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.

          Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrodsburg at a later date.
