Eva (Adkins) Sparks

Eva Sparks, age 103, Harrodsburg, widow of Clifton Sparks, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center in Harrodsburg. Born April 23, 1917 in McKee, KY, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Combs) Adkins. She was a housewife.

Survivors include: two daughters Margaret Greenlee and Peggy Martin both of Lexington; five sons Darrel Sparks, Charles Sparks, Ricky Sparks, John Sparks (Eric Combs) and Jimmy Sparks all of Harrodsburg; 54 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Eva was preceded in death by five sons: Fred Sparks, Earl Sparks, Bobby Sparks, Danny Sparks, and Donald Ray Sparks; two daughters Bettie Hazel Butler and Linda Darlene Sparks.

Private funeral services will be held by Sims Funeral Services of Harrodsburg. Burial will be in Athens Cemetery in Lexington.
