Eric Wayne Walker

Eric Wayne Walker, age 50, of Harrodsburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell RMC in Danville. Born September 16, 1972 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of Cecilia (Wasim) Walker Muhammad of Harrodsburg and the late Rev. Herbert Dunn Jr. He was a graduate of Harrodsburg High School and honorably served in the United States Army. He was a self-employed contractor when his health permitted him to work. Eric loved Korean and exotic foods, cooking and exceptionally loved his faithful German Shepherd dog “KeKo”.

Survivors other than his mother include three sons Christopher Cory Walker, Mish Walker and Erick Walker all of Harrodsburg; five brothers Corey (Christy) Walker, Terry (Angie) Dunn, Brian Dunn all of Harrodsburg, Anthony (Kay) Dunn of Bowling Green and Trenton Dunn of Chicago; two sisters Kayla Walker and Stacy Dunn both of Harrodsburg; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and of course his faithful companion “KeKo”.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday April 14, 2023 at Sims Funeral Services by Terry Dunn with burial  in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of services at Sims Funeral Services.

Pallbearers are Scott Chandler, Germaine Dunn, Brian Dunn, Sid Dunn, Christopher Dunn and Jason Dunn.

Requests of sympathy by the family are suggested to be in the form of financial donations made to Sims Funeral Services, 130 North Chiles Street, Harrodsburg, Kentucky 40330 in order to aid the family with funeral expenses.
