Edith (Red) Dean Obituary

Edith Louise "Red" Dean, age 70, of Milton, KY, widow of Lewis Thomas Dean, passed away at 4:59 PM on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Norton Women and Children's Hospital in Louisville. Born February 23, 1951 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Veda Lewis (Vickrey) Conner. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter and liked to cook.

Survivors include: a daughter Sheila (Stephen) Ann Wooten and a son Lewis Thomas (Christie) Dean Jr. both of Milton, KY; four sisters Ada (Robert) Hafley of IN, Pat Patterson of TN, Mary Ross of Harrodsburg and Betty Dye of IN and one granddaughter Kaelei Ann Wooten of Milton, KY. Edith was preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy Dye and Margaret Holt.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Sims Funeral Services by Pastor David Wotier. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Sims Funeral Services.
