Dotti Elien Burton, age 65, Lawrenceburg, wife of Eddie Burton, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at her home. Born January 15, 1955 in Danville, she was the daughter of Allen Driscoll and the late Peggy Warren Driscoll Roark. She attended Rose Hill and the Mercer County Schools, was a factory worker at Hitachi in Harrodsburg, liked to crochet, listen to music, do ghost hunting, liked to color and was a member of the Buena Vista Baptist Church in Lancaster.
Survivors other than her husband and father include son Danny (Bobbie) Potts of Moreland; two daughters Karen (Michael) Nickels of Versailles and Sharon (Jacob) Corbitt of Lawrenceburg; three sisters Teri (Donnie Collins) Winchester of Lancaster, Lisa Campbell of Cleveland, GA and Sharon (Kris) Meyer of Jacksonville, FL; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides her mother she was preceded in death by a grandchild Jentry Potts and step father Richard Roark.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. Lynn Releford and Pastor Don Burton.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 12:00 noon Sunday until the time of services.
