Dolly Elizabeth (Huffman) Caines

Dolly Elizabeth Caines, age 59, Harrodsburg, wife of Robert Caines passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. Born November 17, 1958 in Paintsville, KY, she was the daughter of John Huffman of Prestonsburg and the late Marguerite (Bentley) Huffman. She was currently the office manager of Bob’s Auto Glass of Lawrenceburg, KY, a family business built by her and her husband; she enjoyed traveling, reading, knitting, working puzzles, loved all types of music and had strong faith and love for God and her family.

Survivors other than her husband and father include one son Robert Lee Caines II of Harrodsburg, two daughters Mary Amanda Caines and Lorna Jill Taylor both of Harrodsburg, two sisters Teresa Hayes and Sally (Ray) Porter both of Prestonsburg, two brothers Johnny (Patty) Huffman of Prestonsburg and Sam (Kara) Huffman of West Chester, OH, one grandson Zachary Caines of Harrodsburg and several nieces and nephews. Dolly was preceded in death by a sister Zoe Daniels.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Sims Funeral Services by Tony Wilkenson. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers are: Pete Hayes, Chris Daniels, Matt Daniels, Cody Porter, Nate Huffman, Michael Joe Daniels, Chris Cox, Tony Wakeland and Mike Mills.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday, from 9:00 am until the time of service at Sims Funeral Services.
