On February 13, 2021 at approximately 3:38 a.m. Dock “Pepper” Warren departed this world. God’s guardian angels flew down from heaven and whispered, “Dock”, Come with us. We have been sent from our Father in Heaven to escort you home. He’s waiting for your arrival along with loved ones that have passed before you. Well done my son!”
Dock “Pepper” Warren was born August 9, 1952 to Geneva P. VanDyke- Penman and the late William Warren Sr.
He was preceded in death by his sisters: Martha Buster, Bonnie S. Travers and Janice A. Stigall, uncles: Johnny VanDyke, Jean VanDyke, and Paul VanDyke aunt: Lillie Berry-Doty, nephews: Ronald C. Buster and Stephen E. Buster great nephews: Jaylen Whitley, Ricardo Cole, Tyler Travers, and Christopher Stigall, and a niece, Lisa A. Stigall.
He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age under the pasturing of the late Rev. L.L. Garr. He enjoyed life to the fullest and never ceased to erupt laughter when in his presence. He attended Westside High in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. He was a devoted and loyal father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. His favorite past times were playing baseball, golf, and fishing.
In passing, he leaves in mourning his mother: Geneva Penman (Harrodsburg KY), daughters: LaChrista Warren (Lexington, KY), Dalonda and Markisha Warren (Danville, KY) brothers: William (Roberta) Warren (Danville, KY), James Wheat Jr. (Syracuse, NY), and Jeff Burnside (Lancaster, KY), granddaughters: Tanacious Bastin (Danville, KY) and Brooklynn Caudill of (Danville, KY), grandsons: Bryce Caudill (Danville, KY) Brayden Caudill (Danville, KY) and Elijah Caudill (Danville, KY), special friend and partner: Sally Dean and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
