Diana Carol (Bottom) Hart

Diana Carol (Bottom) Hart, age 73, Harrodsburg, widow of Terry Brent Hart, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at her home. Born May 24, 1953 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late William Bottom and Rosetta (Lanham) Bottom Cochran. She was a 1971 graduate of Mercer County High School and went on to be a self-employed hairdresser for many years. Diana enjoyed being with her family, cooking, taking care of others and attended the Fellowship Baptist Church on Cornishville Street in Harrodsburg.        

Survivors include four sons Shannon (Billie Jo) Stephens of Harrodsburg, Jeremy Scott Stephens of Lexington, Lee (Jessica) Hart and Adam (Lori) Hart both of Harrodsburg; three sisters Jeannie Moberly and Doris (Ronnie) Claunch both of Harrodsburg and Debbie (Bobby) Roach of Parksville; one brother David Bottom of Lawrenceburg; nine grandchildren Austin (Courtney) Hart, Alex (Renee') Hart, Kelsey (David Mudd) Stephens, Hunter (Kylie) Hart, Tyler (Rylee) Stephens, Alex (Aynslee) Caton, Hannah Hart, Evan Hart and Ayden Stephens all of Harrodsburg and a special friend Bea Beasley of Harrodsburg. Diana was most recently preceded in death by a son Travis Stephens; two brothers Darren Bottom and Danny Bottom, grandchildren Elijah and Elliott Stephens; her brother-in-law, Barry Moberly and sister-in-law Elaina Bottom.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. Lynn Releford. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 10 am until the time of services at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Austin Hart, Alex Hart, Hunter Hart, David Mudd, Alex Caton, Tyler Stephens, Evan Hart and Ayden Stephens. Honorary bearers are Courtney Hart, Renee' Hart, Kylie Hart, Aynslee Caton, Hannah Hart, Rylee Stephens and Kelsey Stephens.
