Darcie Millard

Darcie Millard, age 96, Harrodsburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell RMC in Danville. Born May 21, 1923 in Hazard, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Claude and Nancy Belle (Stacy) Millard. She attended schools in Perry County KY, was a registered nurse at Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg, Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville and at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington and was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Harrodsburg.

Survivors include close friends: Lucy Adams, Doris Loran, and Mary J. Spaulding all of Danville, KY. Darcie was preceded in death by a sister, Linnie Millard Merriman.

Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church by Father Albert DeGiacomo. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the church.

Pallbearers are: Bill Loran, Butch Pass, Mick Long, Jim Cress, Bobby Day, and Frank Grimaldi.
