Danny Ray Britton

Danny Ray Britton, age 66, Harrodsburg, husband of Sharon Perkins Britton, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg. Born July 29, 1952 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Davis H. and Thelma Louise (Graham) Britton. Danny was a self-employed farmer who loved to work with livestock and was a member of the Light House Assembly of God on Bohon Road in Harrodsburg.

Survivors other than his wife include two brothers: John Britton and Charles (Janice) Britton both of Harrodsburg, one step daughter Alissa (Billy) Bugg of Harrodsburg, two special nieces Cheryl Howard of Harrodsburg and Jennifer Scarborough, a special nephew Greg Britton, a cousin Patricia (John) Stewart of Cross, SC, a special friend Kimberly (Jamie) Taylor of Harrodsburg and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Danny was preceded in death by a brother Larry David Britton.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Lighthouse Assembly of God by Pastor Pete Toth assisted by Jamie Taylor. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers are: Brian Sallee, Hobert Combs, Marcus Britton, Travis Scarborough, Scott Howard, Forester Combs and Jessica Jones.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of services at the church. Sims Funeral Services of Harrodsburg are in charge of arrangements.
