Charlotte Anne (Bryant) Harris

Charlotte Anne Harris, age 82, Harrodsburg, wife of Andy Harris, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 at her home in Harrodsburg. Born February 4, 1940 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Earline (Hunn) Bryant. She was a retired employee of Walmart in Harrodsburg, liked to crochet, loved to read and loved caring for her grandchildren. Charlotte was a member of the St. Peter AME Church in Harrodsburg.

Survivors other than her husband include two daughters Andrea Daugherty of Stanford and Karen (Thomas) Porter of Harrodsburg; two sons Michael  Harris of Harrodsburg and David (Emelinda) Harris of Louisville; one sister Phyllis (David) Yates of Harrodsburg; twelve grandchildren Diane (Tharan) Green, Melvin Faulkner Jr., Shakira (Rashaad) Faulkner, Michael (Lauren) Harris Jr., Mariah (Austin) Vaughn, David Harris Jr., James Harris, Destiny (Tyler) Barber, Jacody Dearwester, Se'Annah Harris, Sarah Porter and Timothy (Elizabeth) Porter;  twenty great grandchildren Elizabeth Harris, Hannah Yulee, Rebecca Yulee, Malachi Yulee, Grace Harris, Chloe Green, Autumn Faulkner, Rashaad Faulkner, Hendrix Harris, Oakland Harris, Harmony Rosel, Maddie Vaughn, Sawyer Vaughn, Tamia Harris, Kycen Harris, Blayde Harris, Niveah Porter, Annie Porter, Tyler Barber and Alese Barber; three great-great grandchildren Samaria Horn, Sariah Horn and Queen Harvey.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Sims Funeral Services by Pastor Louise Spencer and Pastor Ralph Smith. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers are Jerome Harris, Timothy Porter, Malachi Yulee, Tharan Green, Michael Harris Jr. and Tony Gill.  Honorary bearers are Melvin Faulkner Jr., Thomas Porter, John Harris, Charles Penix and Doug Spaulding.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at Sims Funeral Services.

Following the interment, a Repass will be held at the Centennial Baptist Church at 291 West Lane in Harrodsburg.
