Charles D. "Chuck" LeFevers, age 79, Salvisa, husband of Nancy Cox LeFevers, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort. Born November 14, 1941 in Pineville, KY, he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Evelyn (Golliher) LeFevers. He was a graduate of Sylvania High School in Sylvania, OH, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Kentucky and achieved his Master’s Degree from Transylvania University in Lexington. He was a retired employee of IBM in Lexington and was motivated by watching golf, loving to tell people how to play golf and enjoyed playing a card game by the name of “Hand and Foot” and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors other than his wife include: four daughters Michelle (Mike) Whaley of Fayetteville, GA, Nicole LeFevers of Grand Haven, MI, Trisha (Justin) Jarnagin of Hustonville and Jan (Brian) Thompson of Springfield; one son Troy (Pam) Young of Bowling Green; two sisters Ann (George) Green of Windermere, FL and Betty (Bill) Weber of Flushing, MI; one brother Jerry (Peggy Mazza) LeFevers of The Villages, FL; eleven grandchildren Rachel (Matt) Spencer, Vincent Whaley and Mikaela Whaley all of GA, Cole Jarnagin, Charlie Jarnagin, Campbell Jarnagin and Payton (Micah) Miniard, Noah Young, Sophia Young, Blake Thompson and Ben Thompson all of KY; two great grandchildren Hope and Brooks Spencer of GA, a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins, plus a number of special friends. Chuck was preceded in death by a brother Paul LeFevers.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Harrodsburg Baptist Church Fellowship Hall by Bro. Paul Gibson and other family and friends sharing “special memories”.
