Charles Wayne "Charlie" Harmon, age 74, Harrodsburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his home in Harrodsburg. Born October 16, 1948 in Danville, KY, he was the son of the late Morris and Artie Jewell (Sallee) Harmon. He attended Cornishville School, was a farmer for over 30 years and was a plumber for Hayslett Mechanical Contractors of Harrodsburg.
Survivors include a daughter Dawn Marie (Michael) Sternik, Harrodsburg; a son Anthony Wayne (Eve) Harmon, Willisburg; a sister Monty Gail (Tony) Devine, Harrodsburg; a brother Franklin Dane Goodlett of Nicholasville; five grandchildren, Kala (Scott) Edwards, Harrodsburg, Trent (Savannah) Harmon, Tavares, FL; Chance Harmon, active in the US Air Force, Briana Harmon, Tanner (Bri) Harmon and Cameron Harmon all of Harrodsburg; seven great grandchildren Addy Edwards, Sydney Edwards, Sawyer Edwards, Grayson Harmon and Braxton Harmon all of Harrodsburg, Teddy Harmon and Scout Harmon both of Florida.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Sims Funeral Services by Bro. Mark Williams with burial in the Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 11:00 am until the time of services at Sims Funeral Services.
Pallbearers are Scott Edwards, Michael Sternik, Lee Williams, John “Boone” Elliott, Foster Elliott and Smee Elliott. Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
