Charles Edward Mayfield

Charles Edward Mayfield, age 69, Danville, husband of Betty Leavell Mayfield passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his home. Born May 25, 1953 in Danville, he was the son of the late Cary and Jonnie Marshall Mayfield. He was a graduate of Boyle County High School, was a former employee of Bell South in Danville and Hitachi in Harrodsburg, enjoyed fishing, playing cards, spending time with his family and was a member of the Stony Point Baptist Church in Danville.
          Survivors other than his wife include: one daughter La-Tina Mayfield-Holloway of Memphis, TN; two brothers Ronnie and Dennis Mayfield both of Berea; two sisters Yvonne Graves and Patricia (Henry) Ewing both of Danville; four grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Other than his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one brother Cary Mayfield Jr. and two sisters Judy Gray and Veronica Mayfield.
          There will be no visitation or services at this time.
