Bonnie Sue Anglin, age 62, Harrodsburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center in Harrodsburg. Born March 30, 1961 in Erwin, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ples Lee and Pauline (Fillyaw) Barker. Bonnie was a graduate of Morehead State University with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering. She was a drafting engineer for the University of Kentucky and Universal Fasteners, a former executive director of the Harrodsburg Christian Life Center and a former technician at Isaiah House. She was very artistic, enjoyed guitar and banjo music, did car repairs and was a former Zoning Commissioner for the City of Harrodsburg.

Survivors include one daughter Jessica Anna Anglin of Harrodsburg; four brothers Buddy (Kathy) Barker of Leland, NC, Charles (Eva Jane) Barker of Willard, KY, Eddie Barker of Hitchins, KY and Jimmy (Mary) Barker of Greenup, KY,; one grandchild Sirus Anglin; nine nieces, Rhonda Clark of Hitchins, KY, Becky Barker of Willard, KY, Crystal Howell of Fallsburg, KY, Stephanie Everman of Grayson, KY, Samantha Hughes of Louisa, KY, Tania Turransky of TN, Jamie Reynolds of Cincinnati, Summer Price of Grayson, KY, Catryna Blevins of Ashland, KY; nine nephews Kevin Price and Chris Price both of Grayson, KY, Wesley Barker of Olive Hill, KY, Johnny Dale Skaggs of Mazie, KY, Danny Barker, David Barker and Mike Barker all of NC, Rick Barker of Willard, KY, Lee Barker of Hitchins, KY; three special childhood friends Crystal Barker, Angela Thomas and Gary Crace. Bonnie was preceded in death by two sisters Cathy Price and Emily Skaggs and a special nephew Douglas Barker.

A Celebration of Life Service for Bonnie will be at 1:30 pm on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Sims Funeral Services with Chaplin Laura Ruth Hogston officiating. The service will be broadcast live over the internet. (Click on View Funeral Webcast Above)
