Bonita Gayle (Drury) Tingle

             Bonita Gayle Tingle, age 78, Harrodsburg, widow of Charles Tingle, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center in Harrodsburg. Born October 10, 1946 in Willisburg, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Eula Faye (Harlow) Drury. She attended the Washington County Schools, was a tree-topper along with her husband, and enjoyed growing flowers, gardening and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church on the Bohon Road in Harrodsburg.
           Survivors include a daughter Kathy Jo (Richard) Robinson of Harrodsburg, two brothers Vernon (Louise) Drury of Salvisa and Herman Leon (Barbara) Drury of Campbellsville and one grandson Joshua Moore of Burgin. Bonita was preceded in death by a brother Richard Daryl Drury and a sister Lena Frances Wilkins.
           Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Bethel Baptist Church by Pastor Stephen Brogli.
           Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of service at the Bethel Baptist Church. 
           Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Harrodsburg. 
           Pallbearers are Sam Long, Cody Deaton, Joshua Moore, Vernon Drury, Danny Jones and “Max” a family friend.
