Bobbi Jo Yeast-Bean

Bobbi Jo Yeast-Bean, age 62, Harrodsburg, wife of Nate Bean, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg. Born August 1, 1960 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Francis Leroy and Catherine (Dunn) Yeast. She was a 1979 graduate of Harrodsburg High School (where she was an All State shot put and discuss thrower), attended Eastern Kentucky University, was a cook for the former Aunt Gravy’s Restaurant, loved horses, cooking, being kindhearted to family and friends and was a member of the Centennial Baptist Church in Harrodsburg.

Survivors other than her husband include two daughters Natalie Yeast of Harrodsburg and Takela (Terrance) Wesley of SC; three sons Craig (Tori) Yeast of Danville, Nathaniel (Veronica) Bean Jr. of Harrodsburg and Damon McKee of Lawrenceburg; one sister Cathy Wheat of Harrodsburg; five brothers William "Bo" Yeast, Steve (Gwen) Yeast, Nick (Debra) Ricardo Yeast I, Larry (Cequela) Yeast all of Harrodsburg and George (Dana) Yeast of Danville; three grandchildren Craig "Russ" Yeast II of Los Angeles, CA, Kiyah Yeast of Danville and Jamiyah Yeast Collins of Harrodsburg and several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Bobbi Jo was preceded in death by one brother Robert "Rosa” Yeast and one half-brother David “Butch” Payne, three sisters, Sarah Ellis, Alicia Smith, and Carol Short.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Friday, March 3, 2023 at Centennial Baptist Church by Bro. Donald Wayne Smith. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 am until the time of services at the church.

Honorary bearers are Donald Wayne Smith, Terry Yeast, Larry Yeast, James Yeast, Nicholas Short and David Payne Jr.
