Billly Meredith Logue

                Billy Meredith Logue, 83, of Harrodsburg died Nov. 7, 2024 at his home. Born July 18, 1941, to the late Gilvie Dudley and Beatrice Vandivier Logue, he was preceded in death by his wife, the late Nancy Lee Shewmaker Logue. Mr. Logue was a graduate of Mercer County High School, where he sang in Glee Club and played baseball for Coach Amos Black. He was also a proud alumnus of Rose Hill School. He was retired from North American Phillips, Corp. in Danville where he was a maintenance technician. A printer for many years, he also worked for Wabco in Lexington, and Kentucky state government in Frankfort. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He was also a longtime member of Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church and was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He was a lifetime fan of the New York Yankees and an avid gardener and reader. He enjoyed working puzzles and was an avid collector. 
               He is survived by a daughter, Pam Logue Spradling (Jeff) of Jeffersonville, KY; two brothers, Donald Logue of Harrodsburg and Roger Logue (Jayne) of Smyrna, TN; seven grandchildren, Lee Logue (Ashley) of Lawrenceburg, Katie Spradling Grashel (Adam) of Winchester, Devin Logue of Harrodsburg, Erin Logue of Louisville, Emily Spradling of Louisville, Riley Logue of Harrodsburg, and Anna Spradling of Lexington; four great-grandchildren, Kaydance, Leelan, Ethan and Robin Logue, all of Lawrenceburg; Several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Logue, and a brother, Harold D. Logue. 
              Mr. Logue chose cremation, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mercer County Humane Society or the Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
