Arnetta Frances Mays, age 82, Harrodsburg, widow of Bentley Levon Mays, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at her home in Harrodsburg. Born March 17, 1941 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Acey and Lulla K. (Singleton) Mundy. She was a 1959 graduate of Harrodsburg High School, a retired factory worker at Corning Glass Works in Harrodsburg. She enjoyed watching television, going to casinos and socializing with family and friends. She was a long-time active member of the First Baptist Church on Broadway in Harrodsburg.

Survivors include two daughters Arnee (John) Payne of West Chester, OH and Sonja (Lance) Kostas of Nashville, TN, two sons Sean Steven Mays of Louisville, KY and Jeremy (Sanja) Mays of Glendale, AZ, two sisters Wanda Mundy and Betty Napier both of Tampa, FL, one brother William Acey (Toyia)  Mundy of Nashville, TN. She also has five grandchildren Chase Mays, Devante Mays, Makayla Mays, Erin Payne and Savanah Mays and also two great grandchildren Kanai and Kaia Mays.

Memorial services will be conducted 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Sims Funeral Services by Reverend Virgil A. Hill, Pastor of the First Baptist Church on Broadway in Harrodsburg. The services may be seen live on the following website: http://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/90465 

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
