Annelle (Yeaste) Ross

Annelle Ross, age 94, Harrodsburg, widow of Loraine Thomas Ross, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at her home in Harrodsburg. Born May 22, 1925 in Washington County she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mattie (Hendren) Yeaste. She attended Washington County Schools, was a food service worker at Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg for many years, a self-employed farmer, liked to do gardening and especially working with flowers and was a member of the Willisburg Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter: Pamela (Lloyd) Poynter of Harrodsburg; one brother Shirley (Louise) Yeaste of Cardwell, KY.  

Annelle was preceded in death by four brothers Russell Yeaste, Marshall Yeaste, Ernest Yeaste and Loys Yeaste and two sisters Artie and Hadgie Ross.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 pm, Monday, January 20, 2020 at Sims Funeral Services by Keith Greer. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers are Jeff Devine, Jonathan Devine, Keith Greer, Genie Sims, Buddy Shirley, and Ron Leasure.

Visitation will be Monday, January 20, 2020 from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm at Sims Funeral Services.
