Patricia Carol (Hofecker) Stratton

Patricia Carol Stratton, age 82, Harrodsburg, wife of N.B. “Polie” Stratton, departed this life on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Signature Harrodsburg Health Care Center in Harrodsburg, KY. Born July 25, 1935 in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ernestine (Morgan) Hofecker. She was a graduate of Johnstown High School in Johnstown, PA, a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean War, a housewife and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

Survivors besides her husband include three daughters: Jackie (Phil) Wainscott and Debbie Stratton both of Harrodsburg, KY and Jennifer (John) Adams of Belleair Beach, FL; three sisters, Janice Swanger, Joyce (Rodney) George and Betty Urban all of Glen Burnie, MD; three brothers, Bobby (Charlotte) Hofecker and Paul (Mary Ellen) Hofecker both of Johnstown, PA and Ronnie (Cathy) Hofecker of Windber, PA; five grandchildren; Laura Peyton, Morgan (Andrew) Hawkins, Sonny (Jordan) Coatney, Shelby Adams and Mia Adams; three great grandchildren Sara Peyton, Piper Coatney, and Hudson Hawkins; several nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Bruce Stratton.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Sims Funeral Services followed by a memorial service with Brother Eddie Russell as the spokesperson.
