Mary Elizabeth Eash

Mary Elizabeth Eash, age 97, Harrodsburg, aunt of Cheryl (Gerry) Collett and Diane (Dan) Stoltzfus both of Harrodsburg, KY, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her home in Harrodsburg. KY. Born January 9, 1920 in Midland, MI, she was daughter of the late Levi J. and Fannie (Bontrager) Eash. She was a self-employed seamstress, enjoyed traveling and cooking and was a member of the Bahia Vista Mennonite Church in Sarasota, FL.

Survivors other than her two nieces include two sisters: Florence Eash and Kathryn Eash both of Harrodsburg, KY; one brother, Lloyd (Maxine) Eash of Buckhorn, KY; two sisters-in-law, Erma Eash of Sturgis, MI and Patty Eash of Nashville, TN; eighteen nieces & nephews, forty-nine great nieces and nephews, and thirty-eight great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, John Eash, Floyd Eash, Dale Eash and Jesse Eash, also by two sisters, Sue Warnick and Anna Eash.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Sims Funeral Services by Pastor Calvin Eash. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are: David Stoltzfus, Samuel Short, Dan Stoltzfus, Chris Logan, Lloyd Eash, Gerry Collett and Calvin Eash.
